Today we will read about one of the most interesting topic "Music For The Day" Which was written by the Radhakrishnan Pillai in his book " Chanakya in daily life". This book is based on the great achraya Chankya. This book consist of so many ideologies of Chanakya but today we will only discuss about the importance of music.
 
So, let's start our journey by understanding the right music for the day.

Life would be incomplete without music. Every aspect of our life is connected to music. It might sound strange but the psyche of a person can change, based on the music He/She listens to. Music is a way of expressing our feelings as well as emotions. Some people consider music as a way to escape from the pain of life. It gives us relief and allows us to reduce the stress. Music plays a more important role in our life than just being a source of entertainment.
Not every person can be a singer or play a musical instruments but every person can a listener and appreciate its beauty.
 So, How do we practise music in our daily life in an effective manner ?

Time Of The Day
One has to think carefully before listening to any type of music. Don't just put on the radio or television randomly. Firstly you need to choose your music carefully. 
Hold on, Think for a while. 
Decide what kind of mindset you want to create through the music.
The time of the day is equally important factor. At the morning time our mind is fresh and pure. This is the time when our mind is most sensitive to the slightest vibrations around. It's best to avoid the loud and rock music at this time.
As the day progresses, everyone gets fully charged up. Hence, during the afternoon listen to the kind of music that has a faster pace to match your inner build-up of energy. Later at the afternoon when most of the day's work is done, you should think on what your mind needs. If you want to take a nap, listen to soft music and if you want to be more active at this time then increase the pace of the music accordingly. This will definitely help you to increase your efficiency and productivity.

Mood Required
Our mood is the greatest dealer with the music.for example if your mood is not good or you are upset due to some reason,you should listen to the cheerful music so that your mood will automatically deal with the music and help you to be cheerful all the day.So, use music to create the mood you desire.
If you want to concentrate on your studies but you can't, then choose music that is of a peaceful and soothing melody and sea waves music.
So, How we develop the practice of music??
Chanakya had the best of music experts guiding him on this. 
So, how do we practice the same in our generation?

Practice Of Music
Practice of music is not a difficult task. simply you have a good collection of albums, be it on CDs or in mp3 files, in your laptop,computer or in your mobile phone.
You should also attend the music concerts. keep yourself update of the artist performing in your city through the newspaper or internet. You should also learn musical instruments or even vocal singing. participate in some musical performance.
This will help you to create a good bond with music, And one of the great appreciating artist said," Silent is the greatest music. Sit quietly every day for twenty minutes and listen to your soul."
